Founded in 2007 by Antionette Clarke, our company, has a rich history of growth and innovation in the real estate industry. What started as a small agency has blossomed into a thriving business under the leadership of Mark Attwood, who joined us as a sales agent in 2018 and became broker/owner in 2019.
 
Mark's vision and dedication have propelled our company to new heights, and today, we proudly operate from three strategically located offices in East London, South Africa. With a team of dedicated sales agents, comprising both experienced full-status professionals and dynamic interns, we have cemented our presence in the market.
 
Our rental division is equally robust, managed by rental agents who oversee a portfolio of over 550 properties which keeps on growing, they ensure top-notch service for property owners and tenants alike.
 
To ensure we always go above and beyond when helping clients all RE/MAX Border real estate agents receive skills training from RE/MAX head office and are given in-house training and mentoring on a continuous basis. All real estate agents employed by the company also have a valid Fidelity Fund Certificate which ensures protection for all clients.

In 2020, we introduced our Sales Candidate Programme, a comprehensive training initiative that has nurtured recruits, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in real estate sales. 
 
Building on our commitment to mentorship and growth, we launched the Rental Internship Programme in 2022, which is already showing promising results and helping aspiring professionals kickstart their careers in the rental market.
 
Mark's visionary leadership reached a pinnacle in 2022 when he created a flagship mandate, which has garnered recognition and was recently adopted by RE/MAX SA, a testament to our innovation and dedication to raising industry standards.
 
As a company deeply rooted in its community, RE/MAX Border is dedicated to various upliftment initiatives. We have provided support to organizations such as Reach for a Dream and St Bernard Hospice, raised funds through a Spin-a-thon for Kings Children's Home, distributed goodie bags to those in need through Santa's Box, participated in the Charles Glass Charity Golf Day to benefit local causes, and made contributions to the RE/MAX Foundation for youth development. Additionally, we've actively engaged in a Soup Kitchen Drive, assisted the Furry Godmother in sterilizing cats and dogs, and organized the Change4Change Charity Fundraiser, collecting coins to aid underprivileged schools and charities in the Border Region.
